Brand kits
One logo becomes a zip of the files you need to put it on a website, an app and a profile page.
B Klug, updated October 27, 2026
A brand kit takes one logo you have chosen and draws it again in every form a small business asks for. All of the files come from the same design, with the same mark, font and colours. Nothing is re-rolled or cropped to fit. The zip is ready in a few seconds.
What is in the zip
- The logo.
logo.svgwith the letters outlined,logo-text.svgwith live text, andlogo.pngat 1x, 2x and 4x.logo-transparent.pnghas no background. - One colour.
logo-blackandlogo-white, each as SVG and PNG on a clear background, for stamps, embossing and dark pages. - The icon.
icon.svg,icon-512.pngandicon-1024.png: the mark alone, square. A logo with no mark gets a monogram. - Favicons.
favicon.ico(16, 32 and 48 pixels), the PNG sizes,apple-touch-icon.png, the two Android sizes,site.webmanifestandfavicon-snippet.htmlwith the tags to paste into your page. - Social images. Profile pictures at 400 and 1080 pixels, a 1200 by 630 link preview, an X header and a LinkedIn banner.
- A brand sheet.
brand-sheet.pngshows the logo, the colours with their hex and RGB values and the fonts.brand.txtlists the same in words, with the address and design token that redraw the logo, and the licence line. - Fonts. A font is included, with its licence text, only when its licence allows passing it on (the SIL Open Font Licence). For the others
brand.txtgives the name and where to get it.
Making one
In the Logo Maker or on your account page, draw the logo you want and press Brand kit. A paid plan spends one kit from its monthly allowance. Without a plan you can buy this one kit for USD 29. The file is licensed for any use, for good, with no credit needed.
The finished zip is kept for 7 days, or 30 for a kit you bought once, and the account page lists your last ten jobs with their download links. A kit you bought once can be made again, free, one time, if it expired within the year.
How many
Starter includes 5 kits a month, Pro 50 and Business 500. The allowance renews with your billing month and does not carry over. A pack of 10 kits adds more: it is used after your monthly kits and lasts 12 months, or until your plan ends. The pricing page has the current prices.
A job that fails gives its kit back.
The kit API
Business accounts can ask for a kit from code. The request is signed like any paid feature (see signed URLs) and takes the same parameters as /v2/logo:
https://api.logolava.com/v2/kit.zip?text=Juniper+%26+Vale&seed=1140956701&api_key=YOUR_KEY&sig=SIGNATUREThe answer is the zip itself. It is built while you wait, so allow up to 30 seconds. A request that takes longer gets a 504 and its kit is given back. One kit is spent per request, and a request that arrives while another of yours is still running is refused. A request from an account without Business gets a 402 that names the plan it needs.
Licence
A kit made from an allowance is licensed while your Logo Lava plan is active and for 30 days after. Its brand.txt says so and links to the terms. Keep a copy of the files you rely on. A kit bought once is licensed for good. The logos you draw for free stay free under the usual terms.
