Everything the engine draws from is listed by the API, with a preview for each item.

B Klug, updated October 25, 2026

A logo is built from a typeface, a mark, a set of colours and a layout. The first three have catalogues you can browse over the API. Each entry has an id that never changes meaning, so you can store an id and pass it later as font, symbol or palette to the logo endpoint. As of October 25, 2026 the catalogues hold 211 fonts, 1,068 symbols and 311 palettes. The tone words used for filtering are modern, minimal, tech, corporate, trustworthy, friendly, playful, bold, elegant, luxury, organic, natural, retro, vintage, edgy, energetic, calm, creative, handmade and futuristic.

Fonts

/v2/fonts returns every typeface. The 211 entries come from 134 families, one entry per weight, in eight categories: geometric, neo, rounded, serif, slab, display, script and mono. Filter with category=. Each row has an id made of the family and weight (pacifico-400), the family name, the weight, the category, its tones, whether it looks right in all capitals, its licence, and a specimen URL.

The specimen is a 640 by 160 PNG. Pass your own words with text, up to 40 characters, to see the font set with them. To use a font, pass its id as font=pacifico-400, or just the family name as font=Pacifico. A name that matches no font is replaced and reported in a warning. To choose by style instead of by name, use fontcat=serif.

To browse every family with a specimen, licence and font id, see the logo fonts page.

Symbols

/v2/symbols lists the marks, 1,068 of them in 65 families such as leaf, anchor, peaks, cup and spark. Filter with family= and tone=, search with q= (it matches the id, the industries and the tones, up to 40 characters), and page through with page= and size= (1 to 200, default 60). The response gives the total, the page count, the list of families and the rows.

A row has an id (leaf-01), its family, tones, the industries it suits, a complexity rating and the number of layers, and the URL of its SVG. The SVG endpoint takes color as a hex value and size from 16 to 2048, with 256 as the default. Use the id as symbol=leaf-01 in a logo request. Special values are none, monogram and auto. To restrict the random draw to a family and let the engine choose the member, use family=leaf.

The logo icons page shows all 65 families with their marks, each with its id.

Palettes

/v2/palettes returns the colour palettes, filtered with tone=. Each has an id such as night-01, a name, tones, a mode of light or dark, five colours as hex values and a swatch URL that serves a 300 by 60 SVG of the colours.

Pass a palette id as palette=night-01. If you want your own brand colours instead, give colors one to five hex values and the palette is built around them. color and color2 set the text colours directly. All of these are covered on the parameters page.

All 311 palettes, with copyable hex codes, are on the logo color palettes page.
