This page lists changes that you can see from outside: new endpoints, new behaviour and new pages. The drawing engine follows the seed promise, so none of these changes alter a logo you have already pinned with a seed.

October 25, 2026

  • Logo Lava v2 launched at https://api.logolava.com/v2/. It draws logos with a symbol, a layout, a background and a matched font, and returns PNG, SVG, WebP, AVIF, JPG or JSON. See the logo endpoint.
  • The variations, catalogue and options endpoints, with 211 fonts, 1,068 symbols and 311 palettes.
  • The AI mode, which asks Claude Haiku 5.5 for a brief of six directions per name.
  • Seeds are frozen as generation 1. The engine sends its generation in the X-LogoLava-Gen header.
  • The new logo maker, which builds these URLs and downloads the results.
  • These docs, a new home page, a pricing page and an about page, and a contact form that sends mail from the site.
  • The terms now say plainly that logos made with Logo Lava are free to use for anything, with no credit needed. See the terms.

Version 1

Version 1 has been online since 2019. It is unchanged and stays at /v1/. Its reference is on the legacy page, and moving to v2 is covered separately.
