1. Who runs Logo Lava

Logo Lava is run by B Klug. To reach me, write to support@logolava.com or use the contact form. For questions about your data, write to privacy@logolava.com.

2. What Logo Lava is, and agreeing to these terms

Logo Lava makes logos from a name. You can use the logo maker on https://logolava.com, or call the API at https://api.logolava.com. Both are free today. By accessing the website at https://logolava.com or using the API, you are agreeing to be bound by these terms of service, all applicable laws and regulations, and agree that you are responsible for compliance with any applicable local laws. If you do not agree with any of these terms, you are prohibited from using or accessing this site. The materials contained in this website are protected by applicable copyright and trademark law.

3. Use License

1. The logos you make with Logo Lava, in the Logo Maker or through the API, are free to use for anything, personal or commercial, with no credit to Logo Lava needed. You do not have to ask me or pay me. That grant does not end if you break a restriction in item d.
2. Logo Lava does not check trademarks. Whether a name or a logo is free for you to use is yours to check.
3. Logos are not exclusive. The same name, settings and seed make the same logo for anyone who asks.
4. The site's own code, text and the Logo Lava brand are not covered by that grant. Permission is granted to temporarily download one copy of those materials (information or software) on Logo Lava's website for personal, non-commercial transitory viewing only. This is the grant of a license, not a transfer of title, and under this license you may not:
   1. modify or copy the materials;
   2. use the materials for any commercial purpose, or for any public display (commercial or non-commercial);
   3. attempt to decompile or reverse engineer any software contained on Logo Lava's website;
   4. remove any copyright or other proprietary notations from the materials; or
   5. transfer the materials to another person or "mirror" the materials on any other server.
5. This license shall automatically terminate if you violate any of these restrictions and may be terminated by Logo Lava at any time. Upon terminating your viewing of these materials or upon the termination of this license, you must destroy any downloaded materials in your possession whether in electronic or printed format.

4. Acceptable use

Use Logo Lava the way it is meant to be used. Please do not:

• send so many requests that you slow the service for others, or get around the limits on the pricing page by spreading requests over many addresses or many keys;
• try to break into the site, the API or another person's account;
• use the sign-up form, the contact form or the API to send spam;
• use Logo Lava to make anything illegal, or to copy someone else's trademark or brand;
• put other people's private information into a logo name or an AI hint.

5. Your content and our content

The names, hints and settings you send are yours. You give Logo Lava permission to use them to make your logo, to keep a record of the request, and, when you ask for an AI brief, to send the name and hint to Anthropic, which writes it. The privacy policy says exactly what is kept. You promise that you have the right to send what you send.

The logos you make are covered by section 3. The site's own code, text and brand stay with Logo Lava, as section 3, item d says.

6. Payments

Nothing on Logo Lava costs money today. If a paid plan is offered, its price, in USD, is shown before you pay. Payments are processed by Stripe. Card details go straight to Stripe and never reach our servers. Charges appear on your statement as LOGOLAVA.COM.

7. Refunds

Nothing on Logo Lava costs money today. If that changes, these rules apply to any paid plan.

All payments are final. We do not give refunds, including for unused time or a part of a billing period, except where the law requires one. If you were charged twice, or charged when you should not have been, write to support@logolava.com and we will correct it.

8. Cancelling

You can cancel a paid plan at any time, from your account page or by writing to support@logolava.com. Cancelling stops the next renewal. Your plan keeps working until the end of the period you have already paid for, then it ends, and you are not charged again. There is no cancellation fee. Before a yearly plan renews, we email you at least 7 days ahead. Every charge sends you a receipt. We may end a paid plan if it is used against these terms; if we end one for any other reason, we refund the unused part.

9. Disclaimer

1. The materials on Logo Lava's website are provided on an 'as is' basis. Logo Lava makes no warranties, expressed or implied, and hereby disclaims and negates all other warranties including, without limitation, implied warranties or conditions of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement of intellectual property or other violation of rights.
2. Further, Logo Lava does not warrant or make any representations concerning the accuracy, likely results, or reliability of the use of the materials on its website or otherwise relating to such materials or on any sites linked to this site.

10. Limitations

In no event shall Logo Lava or its suppliers be liable for any damages (including, without limitation, damages for loss of data or profit, or due to business interruption) arising out of the use or inability to use the materials on Logo Lava's website, even if Logo Lava or a Logo Lava authorized representative has been notified orally or in writing of the possibility of such damage. Because some jurisdictions do not allow limitations on implied warranties, or limitations of liability for consequential or incidental damages, these limitations may not apply to you.

11. Accuracy of materials

The materials appearing on Logo Lava's website could include technical, typographical, or photographic errors. Logo Lava does not warrant that any of the materials on its website are accurate, complete or current. Logo Lava may make changes to the materials contained on its website at any time without notice. However Logo Lava does not make any commitment to update the materials.

12. Links

Logo Lava has not reviewed all of the sites linked to its website and is not responsible for the contents of any such linked site. The inclusion of any link does not imply endorsement by Logo Lava of the site. Use of any such linked website is at the user's own risk.

13. Ending an account or access

You can stop using Logo Lava whenever you like, and you can ask for your account to be deleted (see the privacy policy). I may suspend or end a key, an account or access to the API if it is used against these terms or puts the service at risk. Free keys and free access can also change or end. Sections 3, 9 and 10 keep applying after that.

14. Governing law

These terms and conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Missouri, USA, and you irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of that State.

15. Changes to these terms

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so on the site. The date at the top shows when they last changed. By using this website after a change you are agreeing to be bound by the then current version of these terms of service.
