Logo Lava API docs
Put a name in a URL and get a logo back, as an image you can use in a page, an app or a README.

Logo Lava is a web service that designs logos. You send a business name, optionally with a few choices such as a layout or a colour, and it answers with a finished logo: a PNG, SVG, WebP, AVIF or JPG, or a JSON description of the design. It reads only the URL, so it works from an <img> tag, a Markdown file, a CSS rule or any HTTP client. The API lives at https://api.logolava.com/v2/, uses GET requests only, and allows cross-origin use from any site.
You do not need an account to try it. A free API key raises the limits; see API keys and limits.
Quick start
Add this tag to any page. The seed pins the design, so the logo looks the same every time the page loads.
<img src="https://api.logolava.com/v2/logo.png?text=Juniper+%26+Vale&seed=1140956701"
width="640" height="240" alt="Juniper & Vale logo">The same request from a terminal saves the file:
curl -o juniper-vale.png "https://api.logolava.com/v2/logo.png?text=Juniper+%26+Vale&seed=1140956701"Both give you this logo:
Leave out seed and you get a different logo on every request. That is useful for browsing, but pin a seed for anything you plan to keep. Seeds explains why the promise holds.
